T20 World Cup was won by England...

England won the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup in Australia after defeating Pakistan.

The medium target of 138 runs given by Pakistan was completed by England losing 5 wickets in 19 overs.

Ben Stokes scored a half-century to help England win. He remained unbeaten on 52 off 49 balls, hitting 5 fours and 1 six.

Similarly, Josh Buttler scored 26 runs while Harry Brook scored 20 runs. He played 17 balls and hit 3 fours and 1 six. Moyle Ali scored 19 runs off 12 balls.

Phil Salt was dismissed for 10 runs while Alex Halls was bowled for 1 run.

Pakistan, who lost the toss and batted first at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, lost 8 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs and scored 137 runs.

Shaan Masood scored the highest 38 runs for him. He played 28 balls and hit 2 fours and 1 six. Similarly, captain Babar Azam scored 32 runs. Babar, who played 28 balls, hit 2 fours.

Shadab Khan scored 20 runs in 14 balls with 2 fours, while opener and wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan was dismissed for 15 runs. Young batsman Mohammad Haris scored 8 runs.

Mohammad Nawaz 5, Mohammad Wasim Junior 4, and Shaheen Shah Afridi scored 5 runs. Iftikhar Ahmed was caught for a wicket.

Sam Curran of England collected three wickets for 12 runs in four overs. Adil Rashid, a spinner, claimed 2 wickets for 22 runs and 1 maiden in 4 overs.

In 4 overs, Ben Stokes took 1 wicket for 32 runs. In 4 overs, Chris Jordan collected 2 wickets for 27 runs.
