With the decision of the Supreme Court, Hikmat Karki has been reinstated as the Chief Minister till the 17th of July.
Senior Advocate Tikaram Bhattarai said that since the appointment process of Uddhav Thapa started from the point that all the processes were canceled by the order of dispatch, Karki was automatically reinstated as the Chief Minister for seven days.
