Volodymyr Zelensky, the president of Ukraine, declared on Sunday that if the US Congress forbids military assistance to counter Moscow's aggression, Kyiv will lose the war against Russia.

For months, Republicans in Congress have been preventing billions of dollars in military assistance from reaching Ukraine. "We have to explicitly inform Congress that without their assistance, Ukraine will not win the war," Zelensky stated during a video conference hosted by United 24, a fundraising platform based in Kyiv.
