The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that Iran launched more than 200 deadly drone and missile attacks on Israel on Saturday night.
A month ago, an attack on the Iranian embassy in Syria killed 13 people, including a senior commander of the Iranian Quds Force and a military officer.
Although Israel did not claim responsibility for the attack, Iran said it would respond strongly, arguing that it was behind it.
After Iran threatened to attack Israel, the United States warned Iran that it would fully support Israel and stand as a shield to protect it.
According to the IDF, the attack only slightly damaged the military installation. A 7-year-old girl also suffered severe injuries.
International media reported that 31 other people were also slightly injured.
